The American Passport Outdoor Painting Collection

In the Nature's Kingdom Children PlayWelcome Aboard! Have your rail pass ready and get set to see America as we begin this journey with new paintings, one from each National Park in our "Direct from Nature" collection: East Coast, West Coast and Southwest. With the changing seasons, you can look forward to new paintings that capture the essence of enticing, new locations from America's most valuable resource, our National Parks!

Travel with Stefan, in first class, through his exciting collection of outdoor painting and see Americas National Parks through his eyes.

The "Direct from Nature" collection allows you set out on an adventure every time you purchase an outdoor painting. You will recognize the benefits of being a Fine Art Collector. The set of 12 smaller and looser location paintings in this collection will be limited editions, and will not be re-issued. Start collecting now, and you will receive the first in a series of paintings created on location from nature entitled "Vernal Falls". This magnificent vista, located just up from the Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, is only one of the magnificent places that Baumann has captured on canvas while starring in his American Public Television series, THE GRAND VIEW. Continue adding to the collection as Baumann travels through America's National Parks, and soon, your collection of art will grow into a splendid visual experience of some of America's fascinating and splendid vistas.

The American Experience Collection

Unlike other editions, this collection was painted as a set; a grouping of the American Experience caught by the artist, but completed on larger canvases in the studio. Each work is a symphony(opus) intended to complement each other to create a theme, and like a symphony, each opus illustrates the composer's emotions that varies the tone to complement the vision of the experience. The "American Experience" is part of the touring collection that is traveling to museums and galleries throughout America. These paintings are limited, and when sold out, will surely be sought out by collectors wishing to complete their collection.

Limited Editions

The term "limited edition" means that the artist has chosen to restrict the number of copies made of a painting. Each print is produced to a high quality and approved by the artist, who individually numbers and signs each one. A certificate of authenticity is supplied and should remain with the picture when it is sold. This is the history of the print from the time it leaves the Artist, listing all of its owners, dates of sale, and any other relevant facts. The length of the "print run" is important; the larger the run, the more copies available in the market place. Reducing the number of prints of a limited edition lends exclusivity which should be reflected in the value. The Fine Art Trade Guild states that a limited edition should be no more than 1,950 copies, therefore the smaller the run, the better!

Membership has its privileges

Collectors will be notified prior to the release of each new painting, giving them an opportunity to complete their collection, and to reserve a particular number in each limited edition series to insure consistency. Collecting Art Prints

It must be really wonderful to collect Masterpieces and Original Art. Perhaps that was part of the attraction to the exhibitions - 'to want what you can't have'. Thankfully that is not the case. OK, we may not be able to buy an original Monet, but we could buy new, original Artworks. These can be sourced from the Artists, local Art Societies, Art College Exhibitions, and the Internet. Art is obviously a very subjective and personal affair, but the fun of collecting a particular Artist or style is very satisfying, and who knows, you may be collecting a 'Monet' of the future!!
